We are excited to be recruiting for a Operations Administrator – Customer Service to join Streetspace Group, providing essential administrative and customer communications support across our operational activities.
This role plays a key part in ensuring our clients receive a professional, proactive and well-managed experience from sales handover through project delivery and completion.
What Does The Role Involve
Based within our operations team, you will provide administrative and communication support across live projects, acting as a key point of contact for both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing inbound communications, including calls, enquiry inboxes, email.
- Providing clear, timely client updates on live projects, key milestones and programme changes
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure project schedules remain on track and communicating any variances
- Processing order acknowledgements and managing sales-to-operations handover communications
- Coordinating project approvals, site works information, warranties and O&M documentation in line with task schedules
- Updating internal systems, project files, indexes and schedules
- Supporting the wider operations team with general administrative and project tasks as required
Key Areas of Accountability:
- Maintaining customer service tasks in line with SOPs and project delivery schedules
- Delivering professional, proactive customer service throughout the project lifecycle
- Minimising response times and supporting accurate SLA reporting
- Working closely with the Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement and resolve queries efficiently

Lead Operations Co-ordinator (Fabrication)

Working closely with the Master Scheduler and Fabrication Team Lead, the Lead Operations Coordinator (Fabrication) is responsible for planning and coordinating fabrication activities from the main production schedule. The role ensures fabrication work is efficiently scheduled, accurately recorded and fully resourced to meet production targets and wider operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and allocating fabrication jobs from the main production schedule to shop floor teams
- Issuing clear work instructions, targets and documentation ahead of each shift
- Coordinating the flow of materials and components into Fabrication and completed work out to Yard
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve material shortages or scheduling issues
- Maintaining QA and compliance processes in line with SOPs and statutory standards (including BS EN 1090)
- Reporting schedule, material and production issues to the Master Scheduler
- Completing stock counts and raising material call-offs in line with re-order points
- Breaking down Bills of Materials (BOMs) for custom builds and allocating work to schedules
- Maintaining production schedules, systems and reporting, escalating issues where required
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensuring all completed fabrication work meets quality, accuracy and compliance standards
- Providing accurate weekly production reporting to management
- Maintaining a strong understanding of products, processes and production priorities
- Supporting continuous improvement across fabrication planning, quality and efficiency
About You
- Experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively across teams
- Comfortable working to deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, quality control and health & safety
Experience:
- Relevant qualifications or training (e.g. IOSH Managing Safety, First Aid) are desirable but not essential.
