As part of the exciting Canterbury Riverside development, urbanspec worked with Hyde Housing to provide secure and accessible bike storage solutions for the new residential and leisure spaces. 

The Riverside is a £115 million mixed-use development located alongside the picturesque River Stour in the heart of Canterbury. This major urban regeneration project, developed and delivered by Bouygues UK, features a range of leisure and residential amenities, including a five-screen Curzon Cinema, restaurants, cafes and 189 new homes.

Working closely with developers, urbanspec installed two secure bike storage units, equipped with Sheffield Hoops, providing safe, easy-to-use bike parking spaces.

The urbanspec H-Series Bike Hub was finished with a ForestPanel timber finish, using softwood slats that blend seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. The high-quality galvanised steel finish ensures durability and protection against the elements, while the latch and code secure lock system provides a secure and exclusive space for residents and cyclists.

The Riverside development exemplifies a vibrant mix of residential, commercial and leisure space and urbanspec’s cycle storage means that residents are now able to enjoy a convenient and sustainable solution for cycle storage.
