Eastleigh Works, Hampshire
Eastleigh Works is a historic railway engineering site in Hampshire, now undergoing a phased regeneration by ADI Limited. The site covers over 45 acres and has been transformed into a thriving business hub, combining modern employment space with industrial heritage. Its strategic location near Southampton, direct rail connections and adaptable commercial units make it an attractive base for businesses across the South Coast and beyond.
As part of the ongoing site improvements, urbanspec were specified to provide external waste storage infrastructure. The installation needed to align with the practical requirements of a multi-occupancy site and the aesthetics of the development. The project supports ADI’s commitment to creating clean, secure and well-managed environments that reflect their wider Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals.
upbanspec supplied and installed PM-4 bin housings from the P-Series range. These robust enclosures are designed for operational efficiency and visual appeal, making them well-suited to commercial environments with multiple tenants. The units were clad in Western Red Cedar and latch and code secure locks were specified to ensure only authorised users can access the bins. This important in helping to maintain site standards and prevent unauthorised fly-tipping.
The installed units provide a durable, secure and discreet waste management solution for Eastleigh Works, supporting the long-term viability and appeal of this important site.
