Pittsmead Grange is a new Barchester Healthcare care home in Bromley, designed to deliver high-quality residential, dementia and respite care in a modern setting. As part of the development, cycle storage was specified to support staff and visitors choosing sustainable travel.
urbanspec supplied and installed an M-Series bike store, configured for long-stay parking for six bicycles. The M-Series is one of the most configurable outdoor storage platforms available, engineered to deliver secure, flexible and durable bike parking. At Pittsmead Grange, the hub was manufactured with a hot-dip galvanised steel frame and clad in ForestPanel softwood slats, providing a natural finish that complements the care home’s landscaped setting. Access is controlled via a Eurocylinder lock, with integral wheel tracks to ensure bikes are stored securely and neatly.
In addition to the enclosed hub, the scheme included an ST toast rack stand for six cycles and four baseplate-mounted stands for short-stay use, all hot-dip galvanised for long-term durability.
