The University of Nottingham is a public research university, belonging to the elite research intensive Russell Group association. Located in the heart of the university’s Jubilee Campus, Deakins Place is a recently developed, purpose-built student accommodation compound. Together with the neighbouring Nottingham Two, it forms the Nottingham Student Quarter.

Deakins Place provides first-class residential lodgings and social spaces for students of the university. Their communal, well-rounded facilities include a gym, yoga studio, multimedia lounge and a theatre-style hosting kitchen, complete with open-plan dining.

Recognising that safe and secure cycle storage for students is a growing consideration within the education sector, Streetspace was specified to install an extensive urbanspec H-Series Bike Hub

This incredibly spacious hub, completed with the addition of a set of single row, two-tier racks, holds space for a massive 200 individual bicycles. Overhead lighting ensures that users can feel safe and secure within, while the unit’s location towards the back of the campus also helps to limit the visual impact that naturally comes with a unit of this size.

A personal security gate, complete with its own mechanical keypad, provides additional means of security for the residents of Deakins Place, ensuring that access to the urbanspec H-Series Bike Hub is restricted to residents only.
