Indurent Park, Gatwick, has undergone significant and impressive industrial development. The site, located adjacent to Junction 10 of the M23, offers 100,008 sq ft of cross-docked warehousing and is pre-let to Gatwick Airport Limited. The development includes BREEAM ‘Excellent’-rated buildings, EV car charging and office accommodation with global logistics company, DHL, currently in residence. Cycle storage was an important part of the comprehensive on-site amenities, offering staff a secure and convenient facility for bike parking.
urbanspec delivered a single-source solution that covered the design, manufacture and on-site installation of open-fronted bike racks; the Bike-S Bike Modules for short-stay parking, designed with an industrial aesthetic to match the character of the Indurent development. The storage units were finished in standard Firenze steel, powder-coated in an anthracite grey finish that aligns with Indurent’s branding and their focus on high-quality industrial design. The bike racks were installed with PPC frames, ensuring durability and a high-end finish. The final capacity of the facility allows for up to 72 bikes, offering sufficient space for staff at the site.
