Ideally located along Orpington’s bustling high street in London’s Zone 6, West House is a conversion of an existing office building into 20 high-specification, contemporary 1-bedroom apartments. Residents will be offered a 10 year BuildZone warranty, with facilities that include a lift service to all floors, a communal cycle store and a gated car park with charging for electrical vehicles. Situated in close proximity to Orpington Railway Station, access can be gained to central London in as little as 15 minutes.

Main Contractors for this project were Robust Developments, a Kent-based company well-established in the construction industry. With external space on the site restricted, the company required a facility that would provide effective screening of waste containers whilst maximising the available space on offer.

urbanspec S-Series Covered Bin Screens were specified to provide a premium screening solution that would enable efficient utilisation of available floor space. The unit utilises unique self-supporting cover sections that combine with the base frame and panels to provide a full enclosure for bins.

This product is ideal for residential developments where views from upper floors are a particular consideration. Premium section, tanalised SW timber cladding was specified in order to provide visual appeal and effective coordination with the building façade.
